Casa Masó

This is my first museum of the blog: the local architect Rafael Masó also made the building I live, and the beautiful Casa Masó shows the place like it was a century ago. Just 20 meters away.

Map of Paris

For some reason, about a century ago a local painter painted a map of Paris on the arch of a building, in Les Rambles. So if you get lost in Paris, come and check.

Old-time shop

It's a miracle but it's still there: packed with old wine, cans, spices... and the owners, two unfriendly brothers, will look at you as if you are going to steal them the whole shop. Don't get nervous, take your time. And please buy something, in a few years there will be a stupid clothes shop in there.
At the begining of Carrer Ciutadans.

I scream for an ice-cream

A small shop with two nice ladies, they make the ice creams on the spot, always on fresh products. They love their ice-creams, and will let you taste a few before you choose. I only go there.
In Plaça Independencia, Gelats La Bombonera.

Photocopies and printing

If you need to print anything, this is the place. In carrer ciutadans.

Chocolate!

Mmh ever felt like you deserved a good cup of chocolate? This is the place! The square is Plaça del Vi, just in front of the City Hall (by the way plaça del vi means 'square of the wine'!
You'll find well-dressed ladies with their nephews.

My façade

The main façade of RiverSide was designed by the Architect Rafael Maso. The whole building doesn't have many more traces, but you can see the marble and stone things. And my balcony, the most crowded in Girona.
