Besalú is a charming village not far from Girona, full of stone roads, bridges... and well, a few tourists too.
It's very easy to get there by bus:

From: Girona To: Besalu Depart Stop: Girona Jutjats ( 5 min from apartment, just cross the bridge)
Check well the return not to get stuck there!
